The legends of cricket have made it a source of mass entertainment throughout modern times, and we can now take a look at some of the greatest cricketers of all time.
10. Ricky Ponting
Ponting is
an Australian former cricketer and former captain of Australia's national
cricket team. During his 17-year international career, he played both formats
and completed more than 27,000 runs. With 46 matches played, Ponting holds the
record for the most World Cup appearances. He captains a squad that won the
World Cup in 2003 and 2007 and competed in the 1999 squad headed by Steve
Waugh.

From 1995
through 2014, Jacques Kallis represented South Africa in test cricket, one-day
international cricket, and Twenty20 cricket. He was an important batsman with a
significant portfolio and a supporting bowler, particularly in test cricket. In
terms of hundreds, he was second only to Sachin Tendulkar.
7. Shane Warne
Former
Australian bowler Shane Warne excelled at right-handed leg breaks. He was the
most stylish player in the world and one of the most popular cricketers of his
generation. Warne has the most Test runs scored without scoring a century. In
addition, he is the first cricketer in history to have 600 wickets.
6. Brian Lara
In the
past, Brian Lara led the world in batting and was known as one of the greatest
cricketers. Sir Viv Richards' replacement, Lara broke all his records or came
close to them. In 2004, Brain Lara thrashed the England bowlers to corners of
the field & scored 400 runs against Antigua.
5. Wasim Akram
Wasim Akram
invented the reverse swing and quick bowling. He is the first bowler in one-day
international cricket history to have 500 wickets. He was the third-most winner
of the Man of the Match award in test cricket, with 17 wins. Wasim is the only
player in history to have four hat tricks
4. Viv Richards
In 2002,
Wisden magazine named Sir Viv Richards the finest all-time ODI player. He had
100 first-class centuries during his career. His innings against England in
1986 were among the most memorable in cricket history. In 121 test matches, he
averaged 50.23 runs per innings and scored 8,540 runs.
3. Muttiah Muralitharan
Sri Lanka's
Muttiah Muralitharan has been rated one of the greatest spinners in cricket
history. He is the first Test player to achieve a 10-wicket haul in every country
where the game is played. In 2006, he took all four wickets in four consecutive
Tests against England in Nottingham. He was selected Wisden Cricketer of the
Year in 1999, and he has won 11 Test Player of the Series awards.
2. Don Bradman
Bradman
presently has the average test score record of 99.94, which has yet to be
broken. He made his Test debut in 1928, scoring 468 runs at an average of 67
while playing for Australia against England. 'Bodyline' was a method they
employed to upset his batting, yet despite this, he maintained his level at 57.
1. Sachin Tendulkar
Sachin
Tendulkar debuted for India as a 16-year-old in 1989 and went on to enjoy a
24-year international career. Sachin's record of 100 centuries in a single
international series has never been broken, and it is widely regarded as his
most remarkable achievement. During the 2007-2008 Border-Gavaskar Test series,
Sachin led India's batting assault, smashing 154 not out to lead India to a
historic victory over Australia following a disastrous defeat in the first Test.
